MOBINCITY at RENEXPO 2014

The fair Renexpo Augsburg (Germany) is an international trade fair and conference for renewable energy and energy efficiency from October 9th to 12th. About 14500 professionals visit the exhibition and around 250 experts are presenting and discussing latest news on innovations, trends, technologies and solutions within the conference.

At RENEXPO innovative concepts for renewable energies and e-mobility are shown. The fair starts at 09.10.2014 to 12.10.2014.

Mobincity at Nikola Tesla EV Rally Croatia 2014

Croatian Telekom HT actively participated in the first International EV Rally in Croatia “Nikola Tesla EV Rally Croatia 2014”. HT had a unique opportunity to present MOBINCITY project to wider public audience by providing an active support to Rally organizer. Namely, within the EV RALLY, HT successfully connected a charging station, that was commissioned few days prior to the RALLY inception in hometown of famous Nikola Tesla, with charging station control center via LTE. It was the first show case of similar kind in Croatia as well in the Adriatic region.

Hannover Messe 2014

At the 2014 Hannover Messe Fraunhofer ESK has introduced a solution for a seamless connection of electric vehicles to the power grid. As part of the both FP7 funded projects MOBINCITY and SMARTV2G initiated by the EU, Fraunhofer ESK engineers specified and implemented the required communication interfaces. At the Fraunhofer Energy Alliance booth, the researchers have demonstrated how the charging station operates as an active node to communicate with the e-vehicle and the smart grid backend using the ISO/IEC 15118 and IEC 61850 standards.
